I just found out today that I will not have a job at the school next fall. Since the school in Pomeroy is whole-grade sharing with Pocahontas there won't be a position available for me.
I'm really sad about it, but the only thing to do is pull myself up by the bootstraps and find something else.

It sucks now, but you are strong and determined and you will find something else! I will keep you in my prayers.
That isn't surprizing knowing how the economy is today! Like they always say, the last one hired is always the first one fired! Working at a school myself for the past 10 years, I sometimes wonder about my job stability. Our district has lost 100 students in a years time, which in turn, has a huge impact on the money we take in. Good luck with finding something else. Maybe this is a sign that you need time for yourself and to take care of Josh when he gets off work late.
